David Hartley – Director of After the Event Services

David Hartley is a solicitor, qualifying in 1977. After a career in private practice and as a senior policy official at the Law Society, he joined ALP in 2001 to run Accident Line, the Law Society’s personal injury referral and insurance service, managed by ALP.  His responsibilities now include all aspects of our After The Event insurance services. David was appointed by the Lord Chancellor in 2003 as a deputy district judge to sit in civil courts. David regularly writes and lectures on litigation funding issues.
