The Affinity Scheme Programme covers members legal fees and expenses in:

Employment Disputes
Defence of Disputes with prospective employees, employees or ex-employees in an employment tribunal action arising out of their contracts of employment, or any employment related legislation (excluding T.U.P.E.) and indemnity for awards of compensation.

To validate the insurance the member must always contact the Legal Advice Line to ensure that it follows the latest, most accurate legal advice.

Criminal Prosecutions
Defence of criminal prosecutions including appeals against Improvement Notices under the Health and Safety at Work Act or the Food Safety Act.

Property Disputes
Pursuit or defence of disputes involving negligence, damage or nuisance to your property by a third party.

Taxation Disputes
Expert representation for the business in the event of an in-depth tax investigation, VAT tribunal, DSS enquiry or PAYE investigation.

Data Protection
Pursuit or defence of claims arising out of an application or appeal under the Data Protection Act and payment of compensation awards made against the business under the Act.

Statutory Licence Disputes
Expert representation if an essential licence is under threat of suspension, revocation, alteration or non renewal.

Personal Injury
Pursuit of compensation rights following a personal injury caused by a third party.
